Since starting our network less than 12 months ago, we’ve seen significant growth in customer base but also in network utilisation. Our existing core routers have been doing well with this surge in bandwidth however we wanted to add further redundancy and even more capacity with our new product offerings and services.
After an extensive evaluation process, we selected 4 Brocade CER-2024F-4X-RT-AC Core routers to run our Sydney and Melbourne networks.
These routers come with 4 x 10Gbit SFP ports and 24 x 1gbit SFP ports each. The network is setup to be fully redundant with MPLS to our Melbourne core. This also gives us room for further expansions into other points of presence.
It has become to apparent in recent events with other providers that not spending adequate amounts to ensure redundancy can lead to significant downtime and stress, we simply won’t take the risk with our customers. These new routers were a significant investment at roughly $25,000 each with licences, redundant power supplies and 4 hour replacement. We are dedicated to providing our customers the best service, and we’ll continue to invest heavily into our infrastructure to ensure that we remain the industry leader.

Over the past month we’ve been busy working on our new Instant Dedicated Server platform. Dedicated servers are an unbeatable solution when you need guaranteed levels of performance and resources for your important website or application. Our new platform boasts instant provisioning, so gone are the days of waiting for your server to be built and sent to the data centre.
We’ve hand-picked industry-leading SuperMicro servers to run our new platform due to the flexibility and wide use of these servers in the hosting industry. Here is some of the hardware your new dedicated server will reside on:
We recognise that each server is only as useful as it’s inclusions and that’s why we include IPMI, Bandwidth Pooling, always-on DDOS Protection, GBIt Connectivity, 24/7 Priority Support, Multi-Homed Bandwidth, SSD Drives, Dual-Power and more at no additional cost with every Dedicated Server as standard.
To celebrate this milestone we are offering a special deal to the first 10 dedicated server orders.
